CLC Blocks

Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) blocks are extremely lightweight bricks compared to other blocks and t and are produced like normal concrete under ambient conditions, CLC bricks are also called as foam concrete bricks. Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) blocks are a cement-bonded material made by blending slurry of cement. Stable, pre-formed foam manufactured on site is injected into this slurry to form foam concrete.

Description of the Technological flow:

Preparation is CLC blocks required Cement, Fly-Ash, Foaming Chemical and Water. Microlite Technologies control panel in CLC block making machinery suggests you the accurate amount of raw materials to be used to get the quality and lightweight CLC block. Also, depending on the required CLC density and variance, to get the standard outcome of the lightweight bricks.

We need to pour the mixture into the assembled molds of blocks. The foam imparts free flowing characteristics to this slurry due to ball bearing effect of foam bubbles enabling it to easily flow into all corners and compact by itself in the molds without requiring any Kind of vibration or compaction.

Curing gives good strength and dimensional stability and quality to the CLC blocks. Bricks are cured by Water Curing and the procedure will take 28 days for curing. The concrete block consists of air bubbles thereby resulting in a light weight cellular blocks.
